Story:
Balakotayya aka Balu (Vaishnav Tej) is a carefree guy who lives without any serious responsibilities. His father (Jayaprakash) disapproves of his son’s attitude. He forces him to attend an interview at a multinational company. The company’s CEO Chitravathi aka Chitra (Sreeleela) is impressed by Balu’s talent and personality and offers him a job.
Balu falls in love with Chitra at the first sight. Chitra also reciprocates his feelings. But Chitra’s father is against their love. In the course of their conflict, Balu’s past is revealed. It turns out that Balu is the son of Rayalaseema MLA Mahakaleshwar Reddy (Suman) and his real name is Rudra Kaleswar Reddy.
Why did Balu leave Rayalaseema? How did Balu’s father Mahakaleshwar Reddy die? The movie Adikeshava is about how Balu avenges the mining businessman Chengareddy (Joju George) who killed his father.

The movie is entertaining in the first half with the love and comedy of the hero and heroine. Comedy worked in some scenes. Before the interval, the director gave a twist with the hero’s past and shifted the story to Rayalaseema. The second half is filled with action scenes with hero and villain confrontation. Most of those scenes lack logic. The director seemed to lack conviction in the climax. The movie ends with a routine feeling.
Vaishnav Tej has done soft roles like loverboy and village boy in his previous movies. In contrast to that trend, he appeared in an out-and-out mass role in Adikeshava. He did justice to his character with dual shades. Sreeleela impressed with her glamour and dances. Joju George brought life to the role of a routine villain with his acting. The roles of Sada, Radhika Sarathkumar and Suman are not new.
