Many of them have voiced their dissatisfaction and demanded that the authorities take down the statue, which only bears a faint resemblance to Prabhas in his famous Baahubali costume.
Shobu Yarlagadda, the producer of the Baahubali series, has also reacted to the issue and stated that the statue is not an authorized work. He said that he has all rights related to the characters, plot of Baahubali, and no one can use them for any commercial purpose without his consent. He urging the authorities to remove the statue immediately.
It is important to note that Prabhas already has a wax statue at Madame Tussauds in Bangkok, which made him the first South Indian actor to achieve such a feat.
