The trailer, songs, and teaser did not generate much positive buzz. The box office collections of this movie have been a topic of discussion since the previous day. Many people assumed that the movie would receive a bad talk and that it would affect its box office performance.

The following are the area wise collections of this movie on the first day, in terms of share. Nizam: 4.51 crore, Ceded: 2 crore, Uttarandhra: 1.84 crore, East: 1.32 crore, West: 1.85 crore, Guntur: 2.08 crore, Krishna: 1 crore, Nellore: 73 lakh.The movie collected 15.38 crore share and 22.20 crore gross in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on the first day.
In Karnataka and Rest of India, the movie earned more than one crore share. In overseas, the movie made only 1.95 crores. The worldwide collections of the movie were 18.38 crores share and 28.54 crores gross. Among the recent movies of Megastar Chiranjeevi, Bhola Shankar had the lowest opening collections. The worldwide pre-release business of this movie was 79.60 crores. To be successful at the box office, the movie needs to collect more than 80 crores share. But with only 18 crores share on the first day, the movie still has a long way to go to reach that mark. It needs to collect another 62.12 crores to break even. The collections may increase on Saturday and Sunday, but not as much as on the first day. The real test will start from Monday. It remains to be seen how much the movie can recover from the remaining 60 crores.
