Hero Vikram Fans are eagerly waiting for the film Dhruva Natchathiram, despite the delay in its theatrical release. The OTT rights of this film have been sold to Netflix for a whopping 40 crores, which is a record deal. Netflix will stream the film in Telugu, Tamil and other languages, as Vikram’s films have a huge fan base.
Dhruva Natchathiram was made with a budget of around 60 crores, and the OTT rights alone have recovered more than half of it. The film, which is a spy action thriller directed by Gautham Menon, began in 2017 and faced several hurdles in shooting and releasing. Gautham Menon himself took over the production after the original producers backed out.
Dhruva Natchathiram, which stars Vikram, Rituvarma, Simran and Parthiban, is set to release on November 24, 2023. Vikram will play a dual role of John and Dhruv in the film. The film will be released in two parts, and the second part is expected to come out early next year. Haris Jayaraj has composed the music for Dhruva Natchathiram.
