The movie features Samantha as the female lead and is a romantic family drama. The director of the movie is Siva Nirvana. Netflix bought the digital rights of the movie before it hit the screens.
Considering the popularity of Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha across India, the OTT and satellite rights of the movie have been sold for around 90 crores. Netflix, the leading streaming platform, has acquired the OTT rights of the movie and will stream it from October 6.
The movie will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. Kushi explores the love story of a boy from an atheist family and a girl from a traditional family. Director Shivanirvana Khushi has portrayed the movie with simple emotions and highlighted how family values and beliefs can create hurdles for their love.
The movie is produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha have teamed up again for this movie after Mahanati. The movie also stars Vennelakishor, Sharanya, Muralisharma, and Sachin Khedkar in important roles.
A grand success event of the movie is planned to be held in Hyderabad soon. It is reported that Samantha, who could not join the promotions of Khushi due to personal reasons, will attend this event.
