Recently, he tweeted, Star actress Pooja Hegde was depressed due to lack of opportunities in films and tried to commit suicide, but was saved by her family members. This tweet created a lot of controversy. However, Pooja did not take his tweet lightly. She immediately sent him legal notices. Umair also shared the notices on his Twitter. It is surprising that he is tweeting so boldly even if he is wrong. His lack of fear despite receiving notices is shocking everyone. He also attacked Akkineni hero Akhil. He alleged that Akhil sexually harassed Bollywood heroine Urvashi Rautala. However, Urvashi denied any truth in his allegation.
