Salaar Release Date Update: Trade expert Manobala Vijayabalan has confirmed that Salaar movie will not release this year. The movie, titled Salaar: Ceasefire, was supposed to hit the screens on September 28. However, the makers announced on 13th of this month that they have postponed the release date.
Many people expected that Salaar would come out in November, but Manobala Vijayabalan has disappointed Prabhas fans with his latest update. He posted on social media X on Thursday (September 21) that the movie will release in 2024 as the makers do not want to compromise on its quality.
He tweeted, “As per trade sources…Pan India star Prabhas’s Salaar movie is not coming this year. Salaar Ceasefire will be released in 2024 only. The team is working hard to meet the highest standards. The movie is in its final stages of production. The team promises to deliver a spectacular cinematic experience.”

It is reported that the delay in the VFX work is the main reason for the postponement of Salaar. Prabhas fans are eagerly waiting for this movie to make up for the disappointment caused by Adipurush. With Prabhas as the lead actor and Prashant Neel as the director, the movie has high expectations of breaking all records. The delay in the release and the uncertainty of the next date have made Prabhas fans unhappy. Salaar movie will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam languages. The movie also features Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, Tinnu Anand, Ishwari Rao and Shriya Reddy. The movie was announced in December 2020.
