Srinu Vaitla and Gopichand join hands for a cop thriller after a long gap

Srinu Vaitla, a renowned director of comedy action films, has been facing a series of failures for the past few years. His last hit was Dookudu, and none of his subsequent films could match its success. He took a five-year hiatus after Amar Akbar Antony and has now made a comeback. He is directing a film with Gopichand, the macho star, as the lead actor.

The film, tentatively titled Gopichand 32, had its launch ceremony today (September 9). Venu Donepudi is the producer of the film under Chitralayam Studio banner. Veteran director Raghavendra Rao attended the event as the chief guest and gave the first clap. Popular producer Naveen Yerneni turned on the camera. The film will reportedly feature Gopichand as a cop. This is his 32nd film.

Gopichand is also working on another film called Bhima. He will join Srinu Vaitla’s film after wrapping up Bhima. Gopichand’s previous film Ramabanam, which released this year, was a box office disaster. The audience did not like the film directed by Srivas.

Srinu Vaitla’s last film was Amar Akbar Antony in 2018. The film, which starred Ravi Teja, was a flop. Srinu Vaitla, who took a break from films, is now gearing up for his film with Gopichand. This film is very important for both of them.
