They recently welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Klin Kaara, on June 20, 2023. The couple, who love nature and wildlife, made a beautiful and unique room for their baby girl, based on the forest theme.
Upasana shared a video of the nursery on her Instagram account, giving a glimpse of the stunning décor and design. The nursery has a soothing palette of white, grey, blush, and terracotta, with soft toys, rattan furniture, jute rugs, and natural fabrics. The highlight of the nursery is the custom wallpaper that features playful animals, trees, flowers, and gods. Upasana said that she and Ram Charan feel deeply connected to wildlife and wanted their baby to see the beautiful natural world they love.
The nursery was designed by Pavitra Rajaram, an AD100 architect and creative director of Pavitra Rajaram Design. She said that she wanted to create a sense of calmness and happiness in the nursery, using shades of white inspired by the Vedas. She also said that the nursery is a new world for the baby, where she can explore and learn.
The nursery is located at Upasana’s mother’s house, named Temple Tree. Upasana also revealed that she gave birth at Apollo Hospital in Jubilee Hills, where she had a specially designed birthing suite that was also done by Pavitra Rajaram. The birthing suite had a similar theme of layered neutrals and nature-inspired motifs, creating a restful and serene atmosphere for the mother and baby.
Upasana and Ram Charan’s baby nursery has received a lot of praise and admiration from their fans and followers, who commented on how beautiful and thoughtful it is. Their baby girl’s name, Klin Kaara, taken from the Lalitha Sahasranamam, a sacred Hindu text that lists thousand names of the Hindu mother Goddess Lalita Devi.
