Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Veerasimha Reddy, an action film directed by Gopichand Malineni has created a new record in the Telugu film industry. The film has been running successfully for 200 days with 4 shows daily at SLNS Theater in Aluru, Kurnool district. This is a rare feat for any film in the current times, when the theatrical run of most films is limited to a few weeks.
The director Gopichand Malineni expressed his gratitude to the fans for their support and love for the film. He said that he was overwhelmed by the response of the audience and thanked them for making Veerasimha Reddy a huge hit. He also praised Balakrishna for his performance and dedication in the film.

The fans of Balakrishna are also ecstatic about the film’s success and are celebrating it as a milestone in his career. Balayya fans are happy that the film is still playing in the theater for so long. They said, Veerasimha Reddy is a perfect Sankranthi gift for them and they will continue to watch it till it completes 365 days.
Veerasimha Reddy was released on January 12, 2023 as a Sankranthi release. The film received positive reviews from the critics and audience. The film completed 100 days on April 21. The film features Shruti Haasan and Honey Rose as the female leads opposite Balakrishna, while Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar plays a key role. Thaman’s music was a key factor in the success of the film.
Veerasimha Reddy is not the first film of Balakrishna to achieve this feat. His previous film with Boyapati Srinu, Legend, ran for more than 400 days in Kadapa and Kurnool district centers. It also ran for more than 1000 days at a center in Kadapa.
