Vivek Agnihotri’s Shocking Comments On Prabhas

‘Adipurush’ is the most expensive film ever made in Indian cinema, directed by Bollywood star director Om Raut and stars Prabhas and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. Adipurush was released on June 16 in most theaters around the world with high expectations and grossed a huge amount in the first week. However, the film faced criticism from various quarters for the costumes and dialogues of the main characters. This led to negative word-of-mouth about the film. In this context, the comments made by Vivek Agnihotri, the director of ‘Kashmir Files’, against Prabhas went viral. Vivek stated that Prabhas is not an actor and called ‘Adipurush’ a nonsense movie. Recently Agnihotri once again made indirect remarks on Prabhas and ‘Adipurush’.

He said that the filmmakers are making a mistake when they deal with stories that people believe in. Stories like Ramayana and Mahabharat should be made only by those who have complete faith in them, otherwise the outcome would be zero. He also said that choosing mass masala star heroes for movies based on Mahabharata or Ramayana would not work even if the makers manage to finish the project, they would end up with the same result as ‘Adipurush’. There must be a reason why a story survives for five thousand years and playing a god in such stories does not make one a god. He said that no one believes a person as God who gets drunk every night, people are not stupid. Netizens think that Vivek Agnihotri made these comments referring to Prabhas.

Meanwhile, Prabhas’ next film ‘Salaar’ is set to release on September 28. It is known that Shruti Haasan plays the female lead in this film directed by Prashanth Neel. Jagapathi Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shriya Reddy and others play important roles in this film which is shot on a pan India scale. After this film, Prabhas’ ‘Project K’ is in the pipeline. The makers have finalized the title ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ for this film directed by Nag Ashwin. The recently released first glimpse is very impressive.
