One of the most anticipated movies of the year has a big update for the fans. The romantic drama starring Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur, which is currently being referred to as VD13, is slated for a Sankranthi release in January 2024. The makers also revealed that the film’s title and first look will be unveiled soon.
The film, directed by Parasuram who also directed Vijay’s superhit Geetha Govindam, has completed more than half of its shooting so far. The film is produced by Dil Raju under his banner and it is his 54th production. The film will face a tough competition at the box office, as several other big movies are also scheduled for a Sankranthi release. Some of them are Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram, Nagarjuna’s Naa Saami Ranga, Ravi Teja’s Eagle, and Prashanth Varma’s HanuMan. It remains to be seen if any of these films will change their release dates to avoid a clash with VD13.
