Banita Sandhu, a London-born actress who has worked in Bollywood, Hollywood and South movies, has been roped in as the heroine for the sequel of Goodachari , the spy action thriller starring Adivi Sesh. The film unit made an official announcement on Monday, confirming her role. Banita Sandhu made her debut in Bollywood with the movie October, and entered the South industry with the Tamil remake of Arjun Reddy, titled Aditya Varma.
She has also acted in Hollywood movies like Eternal Beauty, Mother Teresa and Me. She will make her Tollywood debut with Goodachari 2, which is directed by Vinay Kumar Siriginidi. The movie is being produced by TG Vishwaprasad and Abhishek Agarwal, and is planned to be released at the pan-Indian level.
Goodachari , which was released in 2018, was a huge hit, with Adivi Sesh’s performance and the suspenseful plot impressing the audience. The movie was directed by Sasikiran Thikka, and was made with a budget of 6 crores. It collected more than 25 crores at the box office.
