Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan made a comeback with the Blockbuster film Pathan. His upcoming movie Jawan, directed by Atlee, is an action-packed thriller is ready to hit the screen on September 7. The film features a cameo by Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone and a lead role played by Lady Superstar Nayanthara. The antagonist is played by Vijay Sethupathi.
The film is produced by Shahrukh Khan himself with a budget of around 200 crores. According to Bollywood trade sources, the film has already earned four hundred crores from pre-release deals. The film’s remunerations have also become a hot topic in the Hindi film industry.
As per the latest buzz, Deepika Padukone, who has a guest appearance in the film, got paid more than Nayanthara, who is the main heroine in jawan. Nayanthara received 11 crores for her role, while Deepika Padukone got 17 to 20 crores.
Vijay Sethupathi, who plays the villain, is rumored to have received 21 crores. He has set a record as the highest paid villain in the Indian film industry with Jawaan.
Jawaan marks the Bollywood debut of Atlee as a director and Nayanthara as an actress. The music is composed by Anirudh. The trailer of Jawan will be out in August. The film will also release in South languages along with Bollywood on September 7.
