Businessman Re Release Collection: Mahesh Babu’s Businessman has set a new benchmark in Tollywood re-release movies. It surpassed the collections of many star heroes’ films, including Pawan Kalyan, and became the highest grossing re-release movie on the first day. The movie was re-released on Wednesday, on the occasion of Mahesh Babu’s birthday, with 4K Dolby Atmos technology. The movie had a huge craze among the fans, as it was a blockbuster in 2012.
The movie had a great occupancy in the theaters, as there were no big releases on Wednesday. The trade circles are reporting that the first day of Businessman brought in collections of up to 4 crores. In Nizam area alone, the movie collected two and a half crores on Wednesday.
The movie also did well in other areas, such as Seeded (40 lakhs), Uttarandhra (42 lakhs), Guntur (35 lakhs) and Krishna (30 lakhs). Khushi had been holding the record for the highest collections of crore sixty five lakhs in re-release movies in Nizam area for many years. Businessman broke that record and created a new one. Businessman movie is directed by Puri Jagannath. Kajal Aggarwal played the female lead. The movie was one of the highest grossing movies of 2012, with collections of more than 90 crores. Mahesh Babu’s performance and mannerisms as a gangster named Suryabhai won the hearts of the fans.
