Is Bhagavanth Kesari a Remake of Swami? Here’s What the Makers Say

Bhagavanth Kesari Remake: On social media there were speculations that Bhagavanth Kesari is based on Swami, a 2004 film starring Balakrishna’s late brother and actor Harikrishna. Swami, directed by VR Pratap, was a revenge drama that received a lukewarm response at the box office.

Some reports suggested that director Anil Ravipudi has revamped the plot of Swami and adapted it for Bhagavanth Kesari. However, the production house Shine Creations has denied these rumours on Twitter.

Shine Creations tweeted that there is no truth in the remake news and that Bhagavanth Kesari is a fresh and original story and hinted that Balakrishna will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar in the film and that his character will be a treat for his fans.

The tweet from Shine Creations about Bhagavanth Kesari has gone viral on social media. Kajal Aggarwal playing female lead opposite Balakrishna and Sreeleela plays an important character. Bhagavanth Kesari is said to have a Telangana backdrop and is currently being shot in Hyderabad.

Anil Ravipudi also shared that Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal has completed his portions for the film. He posted some pictures of him with Balakrishna and Rampal on social media. Thaman is composing the music for Bhagavanth Kesari, which is slated to release on October 19 as a Dussehra gift.
