Jawan Day 1 Box Office Collections: Jawan movie starring Bollywood’s Badshah Shah Rukh Khan, broke the records of Indian cinema with its first-day collection. The movie, which released on Thursday (September 7), received rave reviews from all quarters and is expected to shatter all the box office records in the coming days.
As per reports, Jawan movie raked in Rs. 75 crore net in all languages on its opening day in India. Out of this, Rs. 65 crores came from the Hindi version alone, while Rs. 5 crores each came from the Tamil and Telugu versions. The reports suggest that Jawan has achieved the highest net collections of all time on the first day in Hindi.
The renowned trade analyst Manobala Vijay Balan also confirmed these figures. He posted on social media that the movie earned Rs. 60.76 crores in Hindi, Rs. 6.41 crores in Tamil, and Rs. 5.29 crores in Telugu. He also added that 26.90 lakh tickets were sold on the first day itself.
Shah Rukh Khan, who had earlier impressed the audience with Pathan this year, delivered another stellar performance in the action-packed Jawan movie. He was ably supported by Vijay Sethupathi, who won the hearts of the viewers with his versatile acting. The theaters were filled with Shah Rukh’s fans on the first day.
