Tiger 3, the much-awaited film of Salman Khan, is struggling to impress the audience during the Diwali weekend. The film had a huge buzz but it did not live up to the expectations. The film received mixed reactions from the critics and the viewers but it is holding on at the box office.
The film lacks the positive word-of-mouth that could boost its collections after the festive period. The film does not offer much to the audience in terms of entertainment or excitement, except for some action scenes. The towel fight scene of Katrina Kaif, which was hyped a lot, also turned out to be a damp squib.
Katrina Kaif, who plays the female lead, Zoya, does not have a strong presence in the film. She was stunning and had a powerful role in the previous instalments of the franchise, Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai, but she failed to impress in Tiger 3.
Critics point out that she looks exhausted, and her chemistry with Salman Khan is not convincing. The towel scene, which was supposed to be a highlight of the film, is a letdown. It created a lot of curiosity but the execution on the screen is disappointing.
Katrina does well in some action scenes, but her overall impact in Tiger 3 is not as strong as in the earlier films of the series.
