Naga Chaitanya, the young star of Akkineni family, is working on his next film with director Chandu Mondeti. The film, which is Naga Chaitanya’s 23rd project, has been generating a lot of buzz. The reason is that Chandu Mondeti has chosen a unique and challenging role for Naga Chaitanya. He will play a fisherman who gets caught by the Pakistan Coast Guard in this film, which is based on true events. The director spent a lot of time on the pre-production work of this film and conducted several workshops before starting the shoot. The film is now in its final stages of production. The film is inspired by the incident that happened in 2018, when 21 fishermen from Gujarat were captured by the Pakistan Coast Guard while fishing near the coast. The film will focus on the life of one of them, Rama Rao, who managed to escape from captivity. Naga Chaitanya had visited Srikakulam district to observe the lifestyle and culture of the fishermen there. He also interacted with some villagers to get a closer look at their reality. The producer of the film, Bunny Vasu, and the director are planning to release the film in pan India level to reach a wider audience. The film unit has also revealed the name of the heroine of the film. It is none other than Sai Pallavi, who has already worked with Naga Chaitanya in the hit film Love Story. Though there is no official confirmation yet, the film unit has released a special video in which Sai Pallavi’s face is hidden but her gestures are recognizable.
