Taare Zameen Par sequel announced by Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan, the actor and producer, revealed the title of his next movie in an interview with News18. He said that the film is called “Sitare Zameen Par” and it is a comedy with a similar theme to his 2007 hit “Taare Zameen Par.”

He explained, “I don’t want to give away too much, but I can tell you the name of the film. It is ‘Sitare Zameen Par.’ You may recall my film ‘Taare Zameen Par,’ which had a similar theme. But this film is not a tearjerker, it is a laugh riot.”

He added, “The core message is the same, that’s why we picked this name carefully. We all have flaws and shortcomings, but we all have something special. In ‘Taare Zameen Par,’ I helped the special kid Ishaan, who had dyslexia. In ‘Sitare Zameen Par,’ there are 9 boys who have their own problems and they help me. It’s the opposite.”

According to PTI, Aamir Khan will also produce this film, along with three other films. These are “Laapata Ladies” directed by his wife Kiran Rao, another film with his son Junaid Khan, and “Lahore 1947” with Rajkumar Santoshi and Sunny Deol. Aamir expressed his enthusiasm for these projects.

Aamir Khan was both the producer and director of “Taare Zameen Par.” The film starred Aamir himself, Darsheel Safary, Tanay Chheda, Vipin Sharma, and Tisca Chopra. The story was about an eight-year-old boy named Ishaan, who was gifted but had dyslexia. Aamir played his art teacher who helped him overcome his learning difficulties.

Aamir’s last film was “Laal Singh Chaddha,” directed by Advait Chandan, which was a remake of the Hollywood film “Forrest Gump.” The film also featured Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya, and Mona Singh. The film did not do well at the box office, and Aamir announced that he would take a break from acting to spend time with his family.
