Currently, she is busy with her Bollywood debut, Jawaan, opposite Shah Rukh Khan. The film is directed by Atlee, Jawan is expected to release in September and has created a lot of buzz among the fans.
However, Nayanthara also has a negative reputation in South cinema. She is known for not participating in the promotions of her films. She only gives one or two exclusive interviews and avoids attending press meets and events. The reason behind her decision is said to be a bad experience she had in a film promotion event early in her career. Since then, Nayan has stayed away from them.
Recently, In Mark Antony promotions media persons asked Vishal about his views on Nayanthara’s absence in the promotions of her film. The reporters wanted to know why she did not come to promote the films. Vishal said that it was Nayanthara’s personal choice and there was no compulsion for her to come. Vishal said, we could not force her to do something she did not want to do, But he would suggest her to attend the promotions as it would be good for the films.
Mark Antony is an upcoming film starring Vishal and SJ Surya in the lead roles. The film is slated to release on Vinayaka Chavithi as a Pan India film.
