Dulquer Salmaan has become a pan India star. He is doing films in other film industries besides Malayalam and Telugu. He became very popular in Telugu with the movie Sitaramam . His pan India movie ‘King of Kota’ will hit the screens next week on 24th August. It will be released in Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada languages. Dulquer is doing aggressive promotions for this movie. He recently gave an interview for the Telugu version as well.
There have been rumors for a while that Dulquer Salmaan is also part of the big budget global movie ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ starring Pan India star Prabhas. However, there has been no official confirmation from the makers of the movie on this matter. Now, in an interview that took place during the promotion of King Of, Dulquer Salmaan was questioned about this. Dulquer answered the anchor’s question, “Is your portion of Project K done?”
“I cannot disclose anything about Project K (Kalki 2898 AD) at this moment. But I visited the film sets. I was amazed. Only Nagy (director Nag Ashwin) can imagine such things. He always surprises me. Mahanati is very different from his first movie Evade Subrahmanyam. Now he is doing this project. It is all about the future. The sets are very fascinating. Everything there is from his vision,” said Dulquer. Dulquer also faced the question whether he has scenes with Prabhas.
“I cannot tell you now whether I am in that movie or not. Let’s talk about KOK (King of Kota) and not Project K,” said Dulquer. Dulquer did not clarify that he is not in Kalki 2898 AD. He said that he will not reveal anything now. Because of this, the speculations that Dulquer is acting in this movie have increased. The chances of him being in Kalki 2898 AD are high.

Vyjayanthi Movies banner, which gave Dulquer a super hit with ‘Seetharaman’ in Telugu, is producing ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. In the movie ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, Bollywood senior star Amitabh Bachchan, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, star heroine Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani and Pashupati are playing important roles. If Dulquer Salmaan is also added to the cast, it will look even bigger.
Dulquer is playing a full mass action role as a gangster in King of Kotta. The film is directed by Abhilash Josley and will release in theaters on August 24. This movie has Aishwarya Lakshmi as the heroine… and was produced by Dulquer Salmaan under the Wayfarer banner.
