Tiger Nageswara Rao Pre Release Business: Ravi Teja Tiger Nageswara Rao which is based on the life of the notorious dacoit Tiger Nageswara Rao, who terrorized the Telugu states in the 1970s and 80s, is a fictional period biopic directed by Vamsikrishna. The film is produced by Abhishek Aggarwal with a budget of around 50 crores.
The film has already done a pre-release business of around 55 crores by selling its theatrical rights. The film fetched 20 crores in Andhra, 10 crores in Nizam and 6 crores in overseas markets. The film has a huge demand for its theatrical rights not only in the Telugu states but also in the overseas markets.
The trade analysts say that the producer has made a profit through the theatrical rights before the release. The deal for the dubbing, digital and satellite rights is yet to be finalized. The producer is expected to earn a huge amount of money through these rights. The film stars Nupur Sanon, the sister of Kriti Sanon, as the female lead.
The film also features Gayatri Bharadwaj as another heroine. The film has veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher and Renu Desai in important roles. Apart from Tiger Nageswara Rao, Ravi Teja is also working on another film called Eagle.
The film is a spy action thriller directed by cinematographer Karthik Ghattamaneni. Ravi Teja has also given his nod for his fourth collaboration with director Gopichand Malineni. The film will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
