Pushpa 2: The Rule is the much-awaited sequel to Pushpa The Rise, starring icon star Allu Arjun and directed by Sukumar. The film is currently in the shooting stage at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The makers have recently given a crazy update from the film by releasing the first look of Fahadh Faasil, who plays a police officer named Bhanwar Singh Shekawat in the film. The first look was unveiled on the occasion of Fahadh Faasil’s 41st birthday.
In the poster, Fahadh Faasil is seen smoking a cigarette with style and confidence. He looks like a formidable opponent for Pushpa, played by Allu Arjun. Some fans have compared his look to Shahrukh Khan’s look in Don. The film also features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, and Anasuya Bharadwaj, Sunil, Jagdish and others in supporting roles. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers with a high budget.
The film is expected to release next year, as the shooting has been delayed due to some changes in the story and cinematography by Sukumar. The trailer of Pushpa 2 was released three months ago and it created a huge buzz among the audience. However, the shooting of the film is not yet completed, and only 60 percent of it is done. Some songs, patch work and fight scenes are still pending. The shooting of the second phase has just begun at Ramoji Film City. This has raised doubts about the release date of the film. Allu Arjun’s fans have started a hashtag “Wake up Pushpa” on social media to express their eagerness for the film.
