Ranveer Singh Replaces Shah Rukh Khan as the New Don: Watch the Teaser

Don 3 Teaser: The Don franchise, which started with Amitabh Bachchan in 1978 and continued with Shah Rukh Khan in 2006 and 2011, is getting a new face. Director Farhan Akhtar has announced that Ranveer Singh will be the new don in the upcoming Don 3 film. He released two teasers on Tuesday (August 8) and Wednesday (August 9) to reveal this news.

The first teaser said that a new era of Don is about to begin, and thanked the fans for their love and support for Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, who played the iconic role of Don in the past. The second teaser showed Ranveer Singh in a stylish and suave look, wearing a leather jacket and boots, and smoking a cigarette. He introduced himself as Don, who is wanted by the police of 11 countries.

Farhan Akhtar shared the second teaser on his Instagram account with the caption, “A new era has begun.” He also said that he will direct the film himself, and that it will be produced by Excel Entertainments. The film is expected to release in 2025. Farhan Akhtar had earlier remade the 1978 film Don with Shah Rukh Khan in 2006, and made a sequel in 2011.

However, not everyone is happy with this change. Some fans of Shah Rukh Khan are disappointed and angry that he is not part of the Don franchise anymore. They are questioning how can there be a Don film without Shah Rukh Khan, who made the role famous with his charisma and charm. They are also doubtful about Ranveer Singh’s ability to play the role of Don, who is a ruthless and cunning criminal mastermind.
